Motorola Xoom on Verizon Gets Priced

Over in the good ole US of A if you are anticipating picking up the Android 3.0 Honeycomb toting Motorola Xoom when the tablet hits the Verizon network tomorrow the 24th of Feb, you might like to know how many bucks you’ll need to shell out to grab the device.

Well according to an article over on ITProportal, the Motorola Xoom commands a price tag of some $600 when signing up for a 2-year agreement; however if you wish to forgo the 2-year term the price of the Motorola Xoom gets kicked considerably to $800.

Those wishing to take advantage of the Xoom’s capability of playing nice on 4G LTE once it becomes available in spring, you’ll be required to hand over 20 bucks a month for 1GB data once the firmware has been pushed to the tablet of course.

According to said article over here in the UK potential customers can already pre-order the Motorola Xoom from King of Gadgets, although the asking price is a whopping 699.99, which seems to me to be way over the top when compared with the Verizon price.

So are any of our readers going to be purchasing the Motorola Xoom as of tomorrow and if so where will you be getting the Android device from?
