FCC Approves Huawei U8500 with T-Mobile 3G Support

The FCC has approved a variant of the Huawei U8500 Android smartphone with T-Mobile 3G support, suggesting a release on the carrier at some point in the future. The U8500 features Bluetooth, quadband GSM/EDGE and the 1700MHz band for 3G support. Other details confirmed by the manual and FCC images include a camera of unknown resolution, 3.5mm headphone jack and microUSB port. Further specs include Android 2.2 and a microSD card slot, as well as GPS, Wi-Fi, and FM radios. Neither T-Mobile nor Huawei have confirmed the smartphone at this time.
