Android Honeycomb Motorola Xoom Now Available from Verizon

For those who have been patiently waiting to snap up the first tablet device to run Google’s new Android 3.0 Honeycomb operating system, the Motorola Xoom, as of right now you can now purchase the device direct from Verizon.

According to an article over on Ubergizmo and by way of Droid-life, potential owners of the tablet can now either purchase the Motorola Xoom online to head on down to their local Verizon store.

Apparently the Droid-life guys managed to get a Motorola Xoom and are ” super impressed” with the device, saying Android 3.0 Honeycomb is a lot more polished than expected and the Motorola Xoom has a top notch build quality.

So the long wait is now finally over and Motorola Xoom wannabee owners can now hit their Verizon store and hand over the $599.99 price when signing on for a 2-year agreement, or walk out of the store without contract for $799.99.

So which of our reader’s will be snapping up the Motorola Xoom today, or are you going to wait a while and hope that after a couple of days/weeks/months someone will offer the Android tablet for less?
