Noted developer Florian Mueller has claimed discovery of new evidence which he believes may turn the tide against Google in the ongoing litigation between Oracle surrounding Android and its implementation of Java.
In 47 pages and six total files, 38 copyright notices and lines of directly copied code have been found within Android source code that point to Sun Microsystems and its Java Wireless Toolkit now owned by Oracle, with many notices being marked proprietary and confidential.
For its part, the Apache Software Foundation and Google have yet to respond to the new findings.
