Universal Apple Bumper to Accommodate Verizon iPhone: Video

As you may already be aware, the new Verizon iPhone sports a slightly different button configuration than your bulk standard GSM iPhone 4 on AT&T, so what if the Verizon iPhone requires an Apple bumper case?

Well according to an article over on Engadget by Ross Miller, one of their readers has purchased one of the new configuration bumper cases and compared it with the original bumper case, and was kind enough to produce a video of the comparison which we have for your viewing pleasure below.

The side by side bumper comparison comes curtsey of YouTube user Alerio and delivers a three minute look at the original bumper case up against the newly designed bumper case for the Verizon iPhone.

It appears that the only difference between the two is the mute button slot and thus this new bumper case should be universal and fit both GSM and CDMA iPhone units.

So the thing is, does Apple expect the Verizon iPhone to suffer the same antenna problems as the GSM version and that’s why they’ve come up with a universal bumper otherwise why would anyone want to bulk out their slim iPhone 4 with a bumper case?

Anyway you can check our the universal bumper case comparison video below, and feel free to let us know your views…enjoy.
