LG Optimus V Dummy Phone Shot Surfaces

Virgin Mobile Optimus V dummy Following up on the latest LG Optimus V news today, the first shot of the dummy model has surfaced from an unnamed Radio Shack location, taken as the display was being set up ahead of its forthcoming launch.

While the display didn’t have pricing or availability information listed, the dummy model gives a decent idea of what the hardware will look like once the phone is launched. As previously reported, Virgin Mobile is preparing to launch the Optimus as the Optimus V for $149.99, undercutting the Samsung Intercept by $100 and featuring Android Froyo while being nearly identical to the Sprint version.

The LG Optimus V is expected to be identical to the Optimus S with a 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display, 3.2 megapixel camera with video recorder, 512MB RAM/256MB ROM underpinned by the Qualcomm MSM7627 at 600MHz, visual voicemail support, Wi-Fi radio, GPS and microSDHC card slot.
