AT&T is the Worst Carrier in the US and Now Consumer Reports Confirms This

The AT&T subscribers in the US will not like reading this, but this now stands as a fact that their Carrier is the worst in operation in the United States. The confirmation is the courtesy of a Consumer Reports survey which took the view of some 50,000 of their readers into consideration before lauding AT&T with this infamous crown.

This also pretty much explains the reason why Consumer Reports did not recommend the iPhone 4 as the smartphone is only available via AT&T in the US. Just to tell you how badly AT&T fared in the survey, AT&T scored a “Worse” rating (which implies a full-black dot for those aware of the ratings) in every single category of the survey other than texting.

While AT&T dropped heavily in consumer satisfaction, competing Carriers Verizon and Sprint were marked with ‘Average to Better’ ratings. Electronics Editor for Consumer Reports Paul Reynolds mentioned that this survey reflects a Verizon branded iPhone could meet a great response in the US market.
