Pentax has added another point and shoot compact camera to its line up with the launch of the Pentax Optio S1. The Optios S1 features a 14 megapixel sensor and also comes with a 5x wide angle optical zoom lens.
It is capable of recording High Definition video in 720p and also HDR (High Dynamic Range) photos, there is also a 2.7 inch LCD display to playback still image and also HD video.
Other specifications on the Pentax Optio S1 include face detection, blink detection and sensor shift stabilization, and it comes with a range of different picture modes built in.
The Pentax Optio S1 will go on sale later this month and is expected to retail for around $200.
