The first live image of the Sprint-branded Motorola Xoom has been revealed ahead of its expected debut during CTIA 2011, being held next week in Orlando, Florida. The Sprint version is expected to launch with a built-in WiMax radio, unlike the Verizon version currently sold which will require a retrofit for an LTE radio when the option becomes available later this Spring.
The Sprint Motorola Xoom is otherwise expected to be identical with a 1GHz dual-core Tegra 2 processor, 10.1-inch capacitive display at 1280800 resolution, a 5.0 megapixel camera, 720p video recording and 1080p video playback, 802.11n WiFi radio, Bluetooth 2.1, and 32GB of on-board storage.
