Yesterday we told you that Tesco Mobile had reported a large growth in the sale of Android smartphones, and not it looks like there is more evidence that Android sales are increasing in Europe.
According to research group IDC, sales of android devices have increased in Europe by 1,580 percent for the last quarter of 2010, when compared to the last quarter of 2009.
In the last quarter of 2009, there were around 470,000 Android devices sold in Europe, this compares to a massive 7.9 million devices sold in Europe for the same quarter in 2010.
No doubt we will see a more Android devices sold in 2011 as in previous year as the platform becomes more popular and more and more manufacturers release Android devices.
