Nimans and O2 in new strategic partnership

Companies sign “major” new strategic partnership which improves and centralises their customers selling platform

Distributor Nimans has signed a new strategic partnership with O2 that will allow its customers to centralise all aspects of their business on one platform.

The new deal, according to Nimans combines a “diverse” product range with “world class” logistics, a dedicated leasing division, training academy, third party on-site services and a wholesale network department.

It also allows customers to bill end users in their own name, provides up front bonuses and strong on-going margins and specialist sales support.

Nimans said it will also open up opportunities for dealers to move into unified communications with a hosted MS-Lync system.

Nimans head of networks Mark Curtis-Wood (pictured right) said the partnership improved the distributor’s position as a single source solution supplier and would cut costs and enhance productivity for its clients.

“We have put together a commercially attractive and simple proposition so that we can help our customers make an instant impact,” Curtis-Wood said.

“O2 is showing their commitment and desire to take advantage of a significant new market. We look forward to helping dealers move into the mobile arena with us and build greater value in their businesses by engaging with new customers and increasing revenue.

“This is a quick win approach which is easy to sell.”

O2 UK head of partners Maggie Kennedy (pictured left) heralded the agreement as a “great opportunity” for it to broaden its market through channel partners.

“Nimans is renowned as a market leader in distribution with a proven trading pedigree stretching over 30 years. They have the expertise in place to provide a perfect platform for O2 to make a positive market impression through the reseller channel,” she said.
