Nokia 6300 White is a Carphone Warehouse Exclusive

The mobile phone market is a crowded and competitive place with retailers offering more and more cash back, free gift and line rental discount deals all trying to entice the masses.
The larger dealerships and suppliers have enough weight behind them from their volume of sales that they can actually approach the manufacturers and networks in order to negotiate exclusive deals such as pay monthly tariffs and new handsets.
The Carphone Warehouse have done exactly this by approaching Nokia in order to exclusively market the new Nokia 6300 White Edition.
The Nokia 6300 Black version has been available for some months now and is available on all UK networks including Vodafone, O2, Orange, T-Mobile and Virgin Mobile, the phone can even be bought on Carphone Warehouse’s own brand Pay As You Go packages, Fresh Mobile and Mobile World.
The new Nokia 6300 White offers exactly the same specifications, dimensions and features as the original version but now comes complete with a pure white facade. As with a lot of to end electrical and communication devices, white seems ot be the new cool, take for instance the Apple iPod, one of the most popular colour choices by consumers is the white version and there are also white version offerings from Nintendo for the DS Lite, Sony for the PSP and Microsoft for the XBox console.
The new clean, fresh and pure feeling that white gives products typically enhances their consumer appeal and many other mobile phone manufacturers have released new white versions of popular handsets.
Although the new 6300 has a white facade it retains its trademark stainless steel casing which work very well together.
The Nokia 6300 features a 2.0 megapixel camera with zoom and flash plus support for video recording and playback for capturing high quality still pictures and video clips. There is also an MP3 player which can be filled with music tracks and complete albums uploaded from a PC via cable or downloaded direct from the mobile internet from the ever growing number of new music portals. Further music entertainment can be found with the addition of an FM Radio for tuning into local and national stations for keeping up to date with new music releases plus news and weather reports.
Other features include GPRS and EDGE technology allowing for much faster download speeds than simple WAP connections, Instant Messenger for keeping in contact with internet registered friends, a built-in hands free speakerphone for freeing up hands whilst continuing the conversation and Tri Band frequency support for roaming abroad.
The new Nokia 6300 White Edition not only represents clever marketing initiative from both Nokia and the Carphone Warehouse but offers a good looking alternative colour variant packed full of features and easy on the eye. This phone would not look out of place resting in a busy professional’s suit jacket for coping with work and home commitments as well as the street fashion conscious teenager wanting the latest gadget.
There are confirmed further plans for a Red version to be released before the busy Christmas period which can only help to bolster the appeal of this functional and stylish mobile phone.
